On 22–23 October 2026, Ludus Magnus participated in the 3rd EUCA Network Event in Córdoba, Spain, represented by Azael Herrero and Cristina Aldavero. The event brought together organisations from different countries to exchange experience, develop project ideas and explore opportunities for cooperation.
Held at Hotel Hesperia Córdoba, the two-day programme combined presentations and discussions on European funding opportunities, including Erasmus+ and CERV, with practical working sessions dedicated to developing ideas and building potential partnerships.
What made the meeting particularly valuable was the expertise and openness of the people around the table. Participants were project managers directly involved in writing proposals for their organisations, bringing practical knowledge of how to turn an initial idea into a viable European project. The quality of the organisations represented and the willingness to share perspectives led to thoughtful discussions, constructive feedback and promising ideas for future collaboration.
For Ludus Magnus, it was a productive opportunity to share our experience in board game-based learning and gamification, while exploring how these approaches could contribute to joint educational and social initiatives. We returned with new contacts, fresh perspectives and ideas to develop further with potential partners.
Córdoba added something special to the experience. Its historic streets, remarkable architecture and unexpected corners provided a memorable setting for conversations to continue beyond the meeting room.
Our sincere thanks go to the EUCA Network organisers and the local host, INDEPCIE, for the excellent organisation and welcoming atmosphere. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Vera Gospodini, Project Manager at The Square Dot team BV, for her support and contribution to such a rewarding event.
We look forward to building on these connections and turning shared ideas into meaningful collaborations.
