Learning that sticks through modern board games

We design and deliver evidence-informed trainings, workshops, and European projects that use modern board games and gamification to build skills, wellbeing, and stronger communities.

Modern board games can be used to build academic competences, develop soft skills, and support cognitive stimulation. To unlock their full educational value, the method requires a facilitator who guides the experience.

    What we do

    Projects
We participate in and coordinate European cooperation projects (e.g., Erasmus+) focused on innovation in education, social inclusion, digital wellbeing, and community engagement, always with game-based methodologies at the core.

    Training & Workshops
We train educators, youth workers, and adult learning professionals to use modern board games as powerful tools for communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and social-emotional learning.

    Research & Impact
We test our approaches in real settings and evaluate results to improve practice and share what works, supporting organisations that want measurable, sustainable impact.

    Modern board games

Unlike traditional board games (Ludo, Parcheesi, Monopoly, Risk…), modern board games (MBG) usually feature:
    – More strategic decision-making and less reliance on luck.
    – Mechanics that activate specific cognitive processes.
    – Stronger themes, higher immersion, and greater appeal.
    – Not only competitive play (many are cooperative).

    Gamification

A methodology that turns a learning process or a set of organized activities into something motivating and fun by using game design elements and mechanics—creating memorable experiences for participants.
