Play to Disconnect Family Board Game Workshops in Valladolid, in Collaboration with FECAMPA CONCAPA

Ludus Magnus is pleased to announce a new series of family board game workshops in Valladolid, organised in collaboration with FECAMPA CONCAPA Valladolid within the framework of the Erasmus+ project PLAY2DISC – Play to Disconnect.

PLAY2DISC is an Erasmus+ small-scale partnership in adult education that aims to help families develop healthier digital habits by offering meaningful non-digital alternatives for leisure time. The project promotes modern board games as a practical tool to strengthen family cohesion, encourage intergenerational learning, and create shared moments away from screens.

Under the slogan “Disconnect to connect as a family”, these workshops will invite families to discover modern board games, mainly collaborative games, that can foster communication, teamwork, decision-making, and positive interaction at home.

The sessions will take place at:

Distrito Zero Valladolid
C/ Toreros, 4 – Valladolid

The workshops will be held on the following dates:

Friday, 26 June, from 17:00 to 20:00
Thursday, 9 July, from 17:00 to 20:00
Thursday, 16 July, from 17:00 to 20:00
Thursday, 23 July, from 17:00 to 20:00

Participation is free, but places are limited and prior registration is required.

During the sessions, families will have the opportunity to play and learn together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. In addition, participants will receive an informative leaflet with practical guidance on how to introduce board games at home as an educational and healthy leisure activity.

This initiative is part of Ludus Magnus’ commitment to promoting game-based learning, responsible digitalisation, and family wellbeing through modern board games. We would like to sincerely thank FECAMPA CONCAPA Valladolid for their collaboration and support in bringing this activity closer to families in Valladolid.
