Description
DESCRIPTION (Click to expand)The main objective of “GAMMOPOLY – The Game of Life for Adult Education” is to facilitate adults’ access to non-formal learning opportunities that will help them develop important life skills and key competences for much easier integration into a modern, constantly changing, and increasingly digital labour market. To achieve this, the project will use a method based on the creation of a board game that simulates complex life situations, which participants will solve while developing skills such as teamwork, negotiation in the workplace and within the family, responsibility in the different roles assumed throughout life, conflict-resolution skills, time management, and the responsible management of resources, with an emphasis on reducing consumerism.
The specific objectives are:
O1. To facilitate the development of key competences required in the European labour market for adults by creating innovative non-formal learning tools in the field of education. The project will develop a board game that can be played with family or friends, but can also be used in adult training sessions.
O2. To enhance the professional skills of specialists in the field of adult education (psychologists and psychotherapists, psychological counsellors, trainers, human resources specialists, etc.) so that they can develop innovative activities aimed at helping adults integrate more easily into the labour market, as well as into more diverse groups in terms of professions and educational and socio-economic backgrounds.
O3. To strengthen the organisational capacity of five organisations in the field of adult education by developing innovative tools in this area and expanding the educational services they offer, with the aim of reducing the gap and competitiveness in the labour market between young people and adults, while integrating the specific characteristics and experience of each target group in a coherent way.
