PAVE Workshops at Colegio Sagrada Familia Jesuitinas (Valladolid)

Between 16 January and 27 February 2026, the four family workshops of the Erasmus+ project PAVE: Active Engagement for Parents through Values were successfully delivered to participating parents at Colegio Sagrada Familia Jesuitinas (Valladolid, Spain). Across the four workshops, families explored a wide range of core values: workshop 1 focused on love, peace, trust, and human dignity; workshop 2 centred on creativity, wholeness, joy, and abundance; workshop 3 addressed respect, inclusion and diversity, simplicity, and empathy; and workshop 4 concluded the series with the values of freedom, rule of law, autonomy, and responsibility. Together, these themes provided a comprehensive and progressive journey through personal, social, and civic value.

Building on previous project updates, each workshop explored a different set of core values through cooperative dynamics and modern board game based activities. Supported by visuals, guided reflection, and collaborative discussion, the sessions helped families examine how these values appear (or are sometimes missing) in everyday home

A playful, meaningful approach: helping “monsters” transform into values

A key element of Workshop 1 is its gamified narrative: families meet several “monsters” that represent the absence of each value, and through the activities they help transform them, turning challenges into opportunities for learning and connection at home. The monsters do not disappear; instead, they accompany families throughout
all workshop activities. Along the way, participants encounter numerous monsters cutouts, colouring sheets, scratchoff tasks, and additional envelopes that enrich the experience and maintain engagement across sessions. Each of the four workshops concludes with a recommended book and a recommended modern board game designed to reinforce the values explored during the session.

Accessible beyond the in-person sessions

To make the project experience available to a wider audience, EIMBG has created a downloadable family workbook in Spanish so that any Spanishspeaking family can replicate the workshop experience at home, even if they could not attend the sessions in person.

To run the workshop at home exactly as it is implemented in our sessions, families will need:

  • The printed workbooks
  • 11 envelopes
  • The printable Envelope Labels (opening requirements)
  • The printable Envelope Missions (content for each envelope)

How it works:

  1. Prepare 11 envelopes and paste each label onto the correct envelope (each label includes when it can be opened).
  2. Insert the corresponding mission into each envelope.
  3. Glue the envelopes into the workbook in the designated spaces, and follow the workshop sequence.

This system turns the experience into a family journey over time, where progress is unlocked through real actions, shared moments, and reflection, promoting longterm values education at home.

Thank you to the families who made it possible

We would like to warmly thank all participating families from Colegio Sagrada Familia Jesuitinas (Valladolid) for their enthusiasm and openness. Their engagement is what transforms this project into a real community-building experience, where values are not only discussed, but practiced together.

More workshops will follow as the PAVE project continues its implementation at Colegio Sagrada Familia Jesuitinas de Valladolid.
